A resident of the Beaufort, SC area and active community member for over 30 years, Woody began his real estate career in 1984 and was the first
sales representative at Dataw Island, an eleven hundred home, private residential community just east of Beaufort. At the completion of
development at Dataw Island, Woody returned to Lowcountry Real Estate where he is again involved with all aspects of Beaufort, SC real estate.
A native of eastern North Carolina, Woody graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1966. After a five year tour in the US
Air Force, he entered the business world in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1976, he and his wife relocated to Beaufort, SC where he was in the ice and
petroleum business for eight years prior to real estate. Woody and his family have found Beaufort and the relaxed Lowcountry lifestyle to be a
perfect fit.
